Bruce Meagher has been appointed director of corporate communications for Australia and New Zealand. Meagher, a lawyer, has owned a consulting practice providing public policy advice to government and private sector clients. He was involved in the amalgamation of Saturn and Telstra New Zealand.

Sally Mulligan has been appointed as product development manager for Competenz, the Engineering, Food and Manufacturing Industry Training Organisation. She joined Competenz after completing a bachelor of commerce and administration from Victoria University.

Anna Marsh has been appointed as Competenz' marketing executive. She returned from almost four years in London where she worked in e-Learning. Her previous experience has been in the audio-visual industry, where she worked after completing her diploma in marketing and bachelor of business studies from Auckland University of Technology.

Martin Lovell, has joined farmer co-operative, Livestock Improvement as Minda Group product marketing manager. Lovell is from Britain and previously worked in telecommunications.
