Dan Symons has been appointed as commercial manager for specialist technology finance company, Equico. Symons joins Equico from Kiwibank where he worked as a senior relationship manager - commercial and corporate for the past four years.

Rob Hart and Linda Robinson have joined Tompkins Wake Lawyers. Hart, based in Hamilton, is the firm's youngest partner, specialising in corporate and commercial Law. Robinson has been employed as principle, specialising in intellectual property and marketing law. She has joined Tompkins Wake after holding senior positions at Intellectual Property Specialists and one of the big five NZ law firms.

Sarah Heine has been appointed to the role of chief executive officer of the Biopolymer Network Ltd. She brings a wealth of experience in management and business development from her own company and, recently as manager of new Zealand's largest forestry software entity, ATLAS Technology.

Gary Swift has been appointed acting chief executive of Auckland's bulk water utility Watercare Services. Swift, a chartered accountant, has worked for Watercare since 1998 and was general manager finance.
