* Jan Jensen has been appointed chief information officer at Moore Gallagher. He has 20 years' experience in IT systems in the services, manufacturing and distribution industries.

* Vaughan Nankivell has been appointed general manager and CEO of Avcom Technologies in Auckland. He is back after a year's contract work in the United States.

* Mike Millar has joined Retailworld Resourcing as a partner. His CV includes two years with TMP in executive recruitment.

* David McArthur is the new director of information technology at Woolworths' Wiri support office. For the past five years he has been systems development manager.

* Stuart Lees has been appointed manager of New Zealand operations for RADN Technology Solutions. He was in IT management in the transport and logistics industry.

* Simon Coombes has been appointed internal auditor at Woolworths, responsible for testing store systems and procedures in the 110 supermarkets of the Woolworths, Big Fresh, Price Chopper and Woolworths at Gull chains. He was previously administration specialist with Woolworths at Gull.

* David Knight is the new business development manager, business integration, for Intelligroup New Zealand. He was sales manager for Informix New Zealand.

* Real estate agent Tricia Lafferty, formerly of Meo Realty, has joined Ponsonby Real Estate. Also new is Ngaire Roebuck.

* Brendan Martin is now an account director for Singleton Ogilvy & Mather. He was previously a senior brand manager with NZ Dairy Foods.

* Baden Ngan Kee has been promoted to general manager of the New Zealand trading branch of Australian wine company Southcorp Wines. He was previously the national sales manager for the company's grocery channel.

* Peter Marsh is to lead Leasing Solutions' management team in the new role of general manager. He comes from UDC Finance.

* Phil Reiher has become client manager with the corporate team of Australasian internet integrator gen-i. He spent nine years as part of the Reuters Financial group.

* Craig Stoddart has become IT company Axon's national sales manager. He was formerly southern region manager.



Malcolm Pope is Axon's new national business development manager for maintenance and support. He was formerly Axon's southern region services manager.

Michael Murphy is now New Zealand regional manager of Silicon Graphics, supplier of design computers to Team New Zealand. He replaces Scott Houston, the new CEO of Weta Digital.
