Minter Ellison Rudd Watts is proud to announce the appointment of senior lawyers Catherine Ross and Rochelle Price to the firm. Ross has joined the the Wellington office and has more than 10 years' experience in the electricity sector, and will contribute to the firm's energy, infrastructure, resource management and environmental practices. Price has joined the firm's employment team as special counsel. She was previously at Simpson Grierson.
Global online accommodation specialist HotelClub.co.nz has appointed Doug McFarlane as New Zealand country manager. Previously he held the role of national sales and marketing manager for DriveAway Holidays.
The New Zealand National Maritime Museum has appointed Philip McGowan as events and marketing manager at the Maritime Museum. He was previously employed as venue sales and marketing manager at the London Transport Museum.
IT Assist has made two senior appointments. Garreth Collard has been appointed as general manager. Collard comes from a strong IT and accounting background and has held management roles in a number of New Zealand companies. Dante Algabre has been appointed as software development team lead. Algabre has spent several years working for an international IT consulting firm.
Marion Blake has been appointed chairperson of the Association of Non-Governmental Organisations of Aotearoa (ANGOA), which works to strengthen the social services sector. Since 2000, Marion has also been the CEO of Platform, the national collaboration of community organisations that provide mental health and addiction services.
Nicole Zukerman has been appointed human resources manager with Fusion5 Australia/New Zealand, a professional services organisation specialising in business application consulting. Nicole's extensive experience includes time with a large NZ Government organisation and with a global consulting organisation in Melbourne, Chicago and London.
Greg Sargeaunt joins Fusion5 as the PeopleSoft service line leader, focusing specifically on PeopleSoft and human resources. Greg has significant business experience in HR best practice and process improvement initiatives.
Richard McIntosh has been appointed to the position of head of legal and compliance for leading New Zealand insurer AIG Life. McIntosh brings more than a decade's experience in the financial and legal services sector to the role, having held both in-house and private legal practice positions.
