Jane Wimsetthas joined Emergent & Co, specialists in the executive leasing market, as senior consultant. Wimsett comes from 14 years in the recruitment industry with Lampen and TMP. She holds a Diploma in Business in HR Management from Auckland University.
Adrian Barker joins Results in Business in the new role of general manager. He was chief executive of a Carter Holt Harvey business.
Karen Thompson is now the marketing and sales director at the Carrington Club resort. She previously worked for Tourism Holdings' sales and marketing team in the Maui rental division.
Auckland University of Technology has appointed Dr Alireza Tourani Rad as professor of finance. Dr Tourani Rad will take up his post next month.
Importer and distributor Specialised Sales and Marketing of Christchurch has appointed Jeremy Puttick as its Auckland-based national sales manager. Puttick was national sales manager for Remington Products NZ. Geoffrey Sullivan has joined the company as general manager operations. Sullivan returns to Christchurch after seven years in Britain.
Gail Hughes is now an account manager for NZ House & Garden magazine.
