* Gen-i has appointed Drazen Babich senior technical consultant in the security team. Babich will focus on security architecture, systems high availability and data management.
* Warwick Claydon, formerly of the Employment Tribunal, has joined TMP Worldwide Business Consulting. He specialises in employment agreement design and implementation, mediation and general employment relations and advocacy.
* Rozanna Wozniak and Ken O'Rourke have joined Property Pack Ltd. Wozniak will promote www.mortgage.co.nz, an internet-based residential mortgage broking service. O'Rourke has been appointed general manager of Property Pack Investment Management.
* Yola Macken has been appointed foundation director of New Zealand's first business high school, at Onehunga High. She joins from Unitec's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
* Certified Organics has appointed Vaughan Hemara as sales executive.
* Hemara has been involved with Certified Organics on a freelance basis since 1998 with responsibilities including product demonstration and training.
* Bill Paton has been appointed managing director of New Zealand textile specialists Autex Industries. Paton has spent all his working life with Autex, most recently being responsible for directing all sales activities.
* Jamie Macdonald has been appointed executive vice-president of Navman NZ's land navigation division.
* Macdonald has a background in mobile communications with Telecom in New Zealand and telecommunications companies Europe.
* Steve Robinson has joined mortgage brokers, Loan Plan Group, where he will work on business development and special projects. He was previously corporate sales manager for American Express.
* DB Breweries Ltd has appointed Andrew Clapham business development manager for the Auckland and Northland regions.
* Mark Bailey has been appointed the new chief financial officer for Rocom Wireless. He worked for the past two years as financial controller for the British fixed-line telco division of Affinity Internet Holdings.
The telco division was a joint venture with large utility company, Powergen.
* Sky City Auckland has appointed Geoff Hogg executive manager of gaming machines. He was previously Sky City's gaming machine senior shift manager.
Before joining Sky City he worked for Christchurch Casino.
* Commercial law firm Clendon Feeney has appointed Matthew Ockleston a senior solicitor. He has been with the firm since December 2000.
