Adam Hopkinson has been made an associate at Cooney Lees Morgan. He has been at the Bay of Plenty firm for 18 months, having previously worked for seven years at Wellington firm Izard Weston.
Maclean Computing recently announced that the founder of the business, Allan Maclean, is to assume the role of Chairman and will be succeeded as CEO by Chris Maclean. Prior to joining Maclean Computing in 2007, Chris held a number of senior sales and business development roles, including business development director, Global & Enterprise Accounts, EMEA, for MessageLabs.
The trustee and wealth management company Guardian Trust has appointed Cathy Stephenson to the role of national operations manager. She has been leading change management and project activities; Stephen Stewart has been appointed to the role of head of distribution. Previously he has worked in senior product and project management roles and held senior management positions with New Zealand Funds Management and Westpac and in the trustee industry; Philip Morgan-Rees has been appointed to the role of head of product management and marketing. Since joining the Suncorp Group in 2008 from ABN Amro Craigs, he has led investment product management for Guardian Trust, Asteron and Tyndall Investment Management.
