Intellectual property firm A J Park has appointed Amanda Harrison as its marketing manager based in Auckland. She was previously the group marketing and communications manager for Competenz the engineering, food and beverage manufacturing training organisation.

The Langham Hotel, Auckland, has promoted executive sous chef, Ofir Yudilevich to executive chef.

Wotif.com, an accommodation website has appointed Rebecca Simeon as business development manager. She was with Skycity Entertainment Group as business development manager.

Jones Lang Lasalle has appointed Kim Bannon as research manager. Bannon has nine years experience as a forecaster in New Zealand and Britain. She replaces Justin Kean, who now works for the firm in Shanghai.

Propertyfinance Securities has appointed Grant Hetherington as its commercial lending manager in Auckland and the upper North Island region. He was more recently with Hanover Equity Partners.

Glen McLatchie has joined Provenco as general manager retail automation. He brings more than 12 years of energy industry experience from BP Oil International.

Lance De Jersey has joined Link Business Broking as a franchise business sales specialist. He has been involved in franchising for the past 12 years. He has studied accounting and business law and is a qualified Chartered Secretary and accounting technician.

Hamilton Council has appointed Stephen Standley as zoo director. He worked at Auckland Zoo for six years, three and a half of which he was zoo director. Most recently, he operated a boarding cattery in Tauranga.
