John McConnell has taken the role of national manager for Packaging House, a division of Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety NZ Ltd (WIS NZ). He brings a wealth of relevant senior management experience having held roles with Lion Nathan NZ and Masterfoods Ltd, among others.

Jamie Whiting has commenced as general manager of women's fashion chain Max. He has an 18-year career with the Hallensteins-Glasson's group.

Ross Milne has been appointed the new chairman at Deloitte New Zealand. He is a senior partner in Deloitte's Tax practice, and is based in the Auckland office and has been with Deloitte for 16 years.

Wayne Tarr has been appointed harvest manager for Dingleberry Farms. He has previously held positions in the agricultural engineering industry.

Gilpin Travel has appointed Tanya Dustin to join its sales team in the role of sales manager. She was most recently with The Duxton Hotel as director of sales Auckland and Okawa Bay.
