Lindsay Cowley is the New Zealand marketing manager for Zintel Group. He was previously general manager of business strategy and marketing for Telecom Fiji.

Hire company Hirequip New Zealand has appointed Christchurch chartered accountant and company director Ray Polson to its Board. This appointment follows the resignation of Murray Doyle in November last year. Polson joins the Board as an independent and non-executive director.

Ken Rapson, principal of Mount Roskill Grammar School, has been appointed director of the Schools Partnership Office at The University of Auckland. succeeds Colin Prentice who is retiring after five years in the role. Rapson will take up his new position in August.

Sarah Goldring has been appointed account director at Whybin\TBWA on the ASB Bank. Prior to joining Whybin\TBWA Goldring was with DDB for eight years where she was part of the team that won best in show at the New Zealand Axis awards.

Dave Fordyce has been promoted to managing director of air at House of Travel. He has been with the firm since 2000.

Tribal DDB New Zealand has appointed Erik Hay as senior interactive art director. Hay has more than four years' experience working with Saatchi & Saatchi Interactive, both in the Wellington and Auckland offices.

First Mortgage Trust has appointed Tony Kinzett as general manager. Previously he was general manager of Nationwide Finance.

Wellington department store Kirkcaldie & Stains has appointed John Milford as managing director. Milford is currently general manager of Repco Australia and will take up his new job in April.
