Michelle Barrowclough has been appointed to the role of chief executive officer of the Waitakere Abuse and Trauma Counselling Service. She has an 18-year background in health working as a registered nurse and the past five years in management roles within the Auckland District Health Board.
Rory MacGillycuddy, former corporate banking executive with ASB Bank, has been appointed CEO at Central Capital Management Ltd in Hamilton.
Nick Picone has been promoted to the role of Auckland senior winemaker at Villa Maria Estate. He has a wide range of experience working in Hawkes Bay, Marlborough and Auckland. He is replacing Corey Ryan, who is heading back to his native Australia. Ryan will be taking up a chief winemaking role with McWilliams Wines of Australia.
Rapp Collins offices in Auckland and Wellington employed a number of new staff; Cheryl Martin joins as group account director (Wellington) direct from the UK where she was a business and marketing consultant specialising in financial services and retail; Colin Rebairo joins as group account director (Auckland). Recently arrived from London, Colin ran bSkyb and Carphone Warehouse in Direct Response acquisition; Susan Young, senior writer also arrives from the UK where she was Creative Group Head at hot London agency Iris; Mark Dawson joins as senior copywriter having previously been creative group head at WWAV Rapp Collins in London; Paul Stevenson, creative services manager, also joins Rapp Collins. He was previously senior Mac designer at Lowe Draft for seven years; Emma McLean joins as full time senior planner in the Auckland office, having been with the agency for six months already; Katja Green has been appointed as account manager on the Telecom business. She formerly worked at The National Business Review in marketing; Clare Waldron has been appointed as account director.
