Mike Wilson has been appointed LIC's premier sires product manager. Wilson has been with LIC for nearly six years, the last two spent in the UK selling LIC genetics to UK farmers.
Andrea Hammond is joining The Republic of Acumen as group director brands, working closely with its Hot Tin Roof marketing, advertising and design team, but also right across the integrated communications group. As an independent brand strategist, she has worked on projects for clients such as Air New Zealand, Tourism New Zealand, Woolworths, Kiwibank, Mitre 10, dtr, Ford, 42Below, Fonterra, Tip Top and Research New Zealand.
Chartered Accountancy firm MGI Auckland Limited has appointed John Alexander as a principal. This follows the merger of the accounting practice of JSA Limited with MGI Auckland Limited on 1 April 2009. Mr Alexander has a special interest in risk management projects and business sales and acquisitions.
Comworth Technologies has made two appointments following the recent acquisition of MEC. David Hill has been appointed division manager IT products, and Luke Ogier has become a business manager for value added products. Both previously worked at MEC.
Norris Ward McKinnon has appointed Sam Hood as an associate to their Hamilton law firm. He is a senior member of the Dispute Resolution and Employment Team and specialises in a wide range of practice areas including civil litigation, employment, and criminal law.
Mark Fox joins Andy McCarrison as the new owners and directors of Inbroke Limited following their successful management buy out. Fox and McCarrison jointly have 55 years insurance experience including retail broking, wholesale broking, underwriting and claims management.
RAPP has appointed three new staff. Diana van Nispen joins as senior planner, based in Auckland, on the Telecom and ANZ National business. Her previous role was senior planner at AIM Proximity. James Rogal joins the RAPP Wellington office as senior account manager. He arrives from Clemenger Proximity Melbourne where he worked on National Australia Bank. Kelly Bleakley joins RAPP Auckland as Account Executive working on ANZ National.
Mark Hucklesby has joined Grant Thornton, based in Auckland, as national technical director. He has more than 15 years experience three financial reporting domains: IFRS, XBRL and audit.
