Asset and infrastructure management company Transfield Services New Zealand has appointed several new senior managers at the company's Auckland head office.
The new executive general manager telecommunications is Ross Lockwood. The chief financial officer is Paul Chambers whose most recent role was as head of finance with Port of Southampton in Britain. The new executive general manager of human resources is Kevin McKenna. He spent the last six years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as its director of human resources. The new general manager of business development is Chris Fallows. Fallows was previously with Siemens New Zealand working in its power generation activities group. Transfield Services New Zealand's new business information services manager is Alan Clist he joins the firm from SAP where he was operations manager.
Belinda Smith has been appointed chief financial officer of Cabletalk Group. She will also carry out the function of company secretary and secretary to the board. Smith's previous position was chief financial officer at Auckland Regional Transport Network.
Cable Talk has also appointed Mike Carter as commercial manager. He previously worked for major accounting firms in a variety of finance and consultancy roles, both in New Zealand and Canada.
The University of Auckland's Faculty of Science has appointed international winemaker Randy Weaver as a senior tutor in its wine science programme. His career highlights include designing and building Cooper's Creek Vineyard as a co-owner in the 1980s as well as pioneering its Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay production.
Saint Clair Estate Wines has appointed Hamish Clark as senior winemaker.
Simon Perry has joined finance and accountant recruitment specialists Numero.
