Freightways Limited (Freightways) has appointed Roger Corcoran to the Freightways Board of Directors, with effect from May 15. Corcoran, who is based in Australia, will bring to Freightways his extensive global business experience gained during a 30-year career with TNT.

National commercial cleaning company Paramount Services has appointed Paul Jensen as business development manager. Jensen brings to his role over 25 years' experience in the commercial cleaning industry, most recently as the owner of his own successful company Cleaning Plus.

Greg Maddren has been appointed as a director of engineering, surveying, planning and resources management consultancy Fraser Thomas Ltd. He is an environmental engineer with over 20 years experience both within New Zealand and overseas in his field.

Drake New Zealand has reappointed sales specialist Fiona Antonovich as a business development manager / consultant for its Albany office. She has 14 years sales experience, two of those years within the recruitment sector. Prior to joining Albany, she was an account manager with Drake's Mt Wellington office, for one of their leading FMCG client's, in addition to business development managerial responsibilities.

Cori Barkle has joined Buddle Findlay's Auckland office as a senior solicitor in the corporate services team. Prior to joining Buddle Findlay, Barkle worked for three years at Goodman Derrick LLP in the United Kingdom.

Mark Gibson has been appointed as chief executive officer of Express Couriers Limited, a role he has been fulfilling since March this year. He joined the ECL Group in November 2005 as CourierPost general manager.
