KEY POINTS:
Bank of New Zealand has made a number of appointments within the people, culture and corporate relations team; Tracy Ellis has been appointed as head of organisational development. She is an accomplished HR practitioner and has been with BNZ since returning from the UK three years ago; Lauren Pearson has also joined the team as manager - talent and executive development. Pearson combines psychotherapy with a solid HR practitioner skill set gained both internationally and locally; Celia Eggleston also joins the team as organisational development consultant. She comes to BNZ from the UK; Jane Thomlinson has been appointed as head of remuneration & information systems and Matthew Cullum as business partner - retail banking. Jane's career with the bank spans 31 years in a range of locations across New Zealand. Matthew has also been with the BNZ since returning from the UK four years ago, having built extensive capability during this time in both reward and HR information systems specialisations; Finally, Robyn Sherson joins the bank as internal communications manager. Robyn brings more than 22 years' corporate communications strategy experience to the team and covers for Kate Ali-Dawson who is currently on parental leave.
Sonya Hatangadi joins Synergy Consulting Group as a consultant and will be specialising in medical and pharmaceutical recruitment. Sonya started her career as an registered nurse and moved into the commercial side of the healthcare sector.
Matthew Hardman has been appointed executive manager gaming machines at Skycity. He has 20 years experience in the casino industry.
Simon Jamieson has been promoted to the role of general manager Skycity Hotels Group Auckland. Simon joined SKYCITY in September 2007. He brings more than 25 years experience in large-scale hospitality businesses.
