North Shore's economic development agency, Enterprise North Shore, has selected Ian Watson, founding Principal of Massey University's Albany campus, as its new chairman. He has been a trustee of Enterprise North Shore since 2004 and chairs the agency's Business Education Committee.

Ernst & Young New Zealand has appointed of four new partners. Alex Ball, Lloyd Bunyan and Matthew Andrew are based in Auckland. Tim May is based in Christchurch .

Peter Scott has been appointed operations manager at Kumfs Shoes New Zealand. Prior to joining Kumfs, he worked for textile importer and distributor Charles Parsons New Zealand.

Unisys today announces the appointment of Ewen Ritchie to manage Wellington-based clients across the commercial and public sectors. Ritchie joins Unisys with experience of the New Zealand IT market. He has held roles at Gen-i, EDS, SCIENZ, and Logic.

National and trans-Tasman law firm Duncan Cotterill has appointed Bruno Bordignon as a new partner in its Wellington office. Bordignon has experience in many areas including commercial, IT, commercial property, property development and company law.
