Russell Jones has joined ASB as head of group technology. His extensive career in IT has seen him working for Sappi in both South Africa and Europe, as well as Carter Holt Harvey in New Zealand and International Paper in the US.
The Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand has appointed Deborah Hart LLB as its executive director. Hart is also a member of the Government's Small Business Advisory Group.

Unisys has appointed Allen Koehn to head the public sector business across the Asia Pacific region, based in Sydney. Koehn has been promoted to this position after leading the New Zealand and Australia public sector practice for two and a half years.
Unisys has also appointed Suzanne Carter as vice president, commercial industries, Unisys Asia Pacific based in Sydney. Carter joined Unisys in April 2007 as vice president sales, commercial industries for Asia Pacific.
Mercer has bolstered its investment team with the appointment of two new senior consultants. Russell Garrett will take on a business development and client management role. He brings a wealth of experience having worked in financial services for over 17 years in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Mercer has also appointed Garth Gregory to lead the research analyst team. He has over 11 years financial management experience in both the private and public sectors.
