Rick Bidgood joins Retailworld Resourcing as an executive account manager. Retailworld is a retail specialist recruitment agency with six offices across Australasia. Prior to joining Retailworld Bidgood was people relations & development manager for HMS Host, based at the Auckland International Airport.

The Langham Hotel, Auckland has appointed Katie Malone-Williams as its marketing communications manager. Malone-Williams replaces Amanda Drummond, who is now working for a five-star resort in Asia.

Workplace survey specialist John Robertson & Associates has made two senior appointments. Dr Neal Knight-Turvey has been appointed senior consultant - research and analysis. Amy Shipley has joined as a consultant. Responsible for survey administration, project and client management.

Staples Rodway accountants and business advisors has appointed two associate directors; Geetesh Raniga and Matt Baker, in the Auckland office. Raniga joined the firm in 2002 as a manager in the audit and assurance services division. Baker specialises in mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructures.

Ernst & Young New Zealand has appointed Wellington based partner Grant Taylor as head of government business. He has more than 14 years' experience providing assurance-related services to the public sector and joined the firm in 1994.

Patrick Evers has joined Alcatel to lead sales and relationship management for the company's Telecom New Zealand account. He joins Alcatel after eight years with Agilent Technologies where he was general manager for Agilent (NZ) and district manager for communications systems across Australasia.

ProCare Health has appointed Mac Leauanae as Pacific health manager. He was previously a training manager with the Pacific Business Trust.
