Rick Christie joins the board of Provenco as an independent director. Christie has spent 21 years in the oil industry in New Zealand and overseas and nearly nine years in the export sector, including six years as chief executive of the New Zealand Trade Development Board.

The New Zealand Writer's Guild has appointed Penny Ehrhardt as its executive director.

Sue Pollard is the New Zealand Nutrition Foundation's chief executive officer. Pollard has more than 30 years experience in the health and nutrition fields and is a past president of the New Zealand Dietetic Association. Her last position was with Auckland District Health Board as the manager ambulatory services.

Wairau River Wines has appointed Angela Wilson as international sales and marketing manager. Lindsay Parkinson who managed sales and marketing will now take on the role of general manager, with Allan McWilliams leading the winemaking team.

Esanda FleetPartners, a member of the ANZ group of companies, has appointed Wayne Percival as head of Esanda FleetPartners New Zealand. He joins the firm from UDC Finance where he was head of operations.
