Visa International has appointed Andy McCowan as senior business development manager and Sarah Eglinton as marketing manager. McCowan was previously based in Sydney with Visa International as business development manager. Before joining Visa, Eglinton worked on credit card business development and strategy at the Bank of New Zealand.
Steve Cohn has joined software firm Optimation as the head of the Optimation Development Centre. He most recently worked at Synergy as client services manager.
Carole French has been appointed as South Island fundraising manager for Variety - The Children's Charity.
Hannah Ho has joined law firm Chapman Tripp's banking and finance team as a solicitor. Ho previously worked for Dawson Harford & Partners and Minter Ellison Rudd Watts. She graduated from Auckland University with a BA/LLB (Hons).
Hamilton law firm Tompkins Wake has admitted a new partner, Peter Duncan, to its practice. Duncan joins the firm after 14 years with Corban Revell, where he was senior partner.
