Patrick Holmes has been appointed divisional manager fundraising with the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind. Patrick joins the Foundation from the Royal National Institute for Deaf people (RNID) in the UK, where he was executive director of fundraising.
Patrick will lead the fundraising division and provide the strategic direction to the dedicated national fundraising team. Patrick has extensive senior management experience within the charitable sector, including roles with the Royal Institute for the Blind (RNIB), Macmillan Cancer Relief and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).
The Foundation has approximately 11,500 registered members and is New Zealand's primary service provider for people who are blind, vision-impaired and deaf/blind. The Foundation is best known for its world-class guide dog service and also offers a wide range of services that help blind, vision-impaired and deaf/blind people of all ages live more confidently, independently and safely.

Flight Centre has appointed Justine St John as national marketing manager. St John takes responsibility for the strategic direction of Flight Centre's marketing programme, including both retail and e-commerce distribution channels. Recently returned from Sydney, where she spent three years as Contiki's Australia marketing manager, St John has 10 years marketing experience.

The Wood Processors Association of New Zealand (WPA) has appointed a leader from the dairy sector, Peter Bodeker, as its first chief executive officer. Mr Bodeker has held the position of chief executive officer of Dairy InSight since 2001 and prior to this he held executive positions with the Livestock Improvement Corporation where he was general manager advisory.
