Dorchester Pacific has appointed Andrew Walker as chief executive officer. He was most recently with Clavell Capital, an Auckland-based merchant bank. He also brings finance sector experience from the United States.
Engineering and valuations consultancy Duffill Watts Group has appointed Janice Carter to head up its Auckland-based planning section. Carter has more than 20 years experience in resource management planning and was previously with Glasson Potts Fowler in Christchurch.
Tauranga-based Sharp Tudhope Lawyers has appointed Kelly Quinn as a partner at the firm. Quinn began his career with Simpson Grierson in 1991, subsequently became a Crown prosecutor, and has since worked overseas with Malleson Stephen Jacques, Coudert Brothers and Linklaters.
Gavin Lennox has joined the board as a director of Critchlow, a leading provider of location intelligence solutions. Lennox was previously Asia-Pacific vice president of MapInfo Corporation.
Scott Abel has rejoined Buddle Findlay as a senior associate in the banking and financial services team. He spent five years working in London for Slaughter and May.
