Martin Paget has joined business and IT consulting firm Asparona as southern delivery manager. He most recently delivered the implementation of Oracle Financials for ACC.

John Rooney and Michael Wood have become partners with law firm Simpson Grierson, bringing the number of partners to 48. Rooney specialises in employment law and industrial relations while Wood has more than a decade's experience in local government and property law. The firm has also promoted four senior associates, Carol Weaver, Marc Cropper, Bronwyn Carruthers and Samantha Turner.
