The Auckland couple, who own Maloney's Barber Shop on Victoria St West, even have their own in-house competition for the month.
Mrs Maloney said the shop presented a Movember cup every year in memory of her father Henry Turner, who died from prostate cancer.
Carl Ewen, 30, ninth Movember
Movember is Carl Ewen's favourite time of the year.
The two-time Man of Movember - the foundation's top mo prize awarded at its month-end gala - has participated in the campaign since it started in 2006 in New Zealand. This year, he's gunning for the hat-trick.
The events manager for the AUT University's student association also had the Movember moustache logo tattooed on the inside of his right bicep two years ago.
Josh Kronfeld, 43, second Movember
The Auckland-based former All Black says he's not the greatest shaver in general, but his son thought his spectacular handlebar moustache last year was "a bit strange".
He's looking forward to taking part for the second time after being amazed at the efforts made by contestants in previous years.
Will Hall, 34, fifth Movember
New Zealand actor Will Hall is going into Movember with a fully formed 1970s-style moustache.
"I've established this big dirty chopper mo for a role and I'm unable to take it off because of filming requirements," he said. Instead, this year he will be a Mo-Mentor, someone who has an established moustache but is for whatever reason not willing to shave it off.
Jay Reeve, 31, fourth Movember
ZM presenter Jay Reeve wants an "understated" moustache this year, instead of the Magnum, P.I. look he previously sported.
