Yesterday, Lorde and Eleanor Catton posed in bed in the New York apartment of New Zealander Gemma Gracewood, channelling the famous photo of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1969 in-bed peace protest.
The two Kiwis caught up as Lorde celebrated her 17th birthday. Her worldwide hit Royals is number one on the US charts for the sixth week in a row.
Catton, 28, is enjoying acclaim after becoming the youngest winner of the Booker prize with The Luminaries.
