KEY POINTS:
Traffic is flowing again on Auckland's Northern Motorway after a rolled petrol tanker earlier blocked lanes at Wairau Park.
One person has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after being cut free from a car.
Another two people, one of them thought to have been the tanker driver, were also taken to hospital with minor or moderate injuries.
About 11.30am, Inspector Ian Brooker said: "All northbound lanes are open and two southbound. The third southbound lane will be opened as soon as contractors do a final sweep for debris."
St Johns' team leader Brett Tobeck earlier said the tanker has gone through a barrier and was blocking both fast lanes.
Police said the tanker was nearly empty and there has been no spillage.
Heavy haulage vehicles would be brought in to right the tanker.
