KEY POINTS:
Two road accidents have been reported in the Central Otago area today beacuse of icy road conditions.
Inspector Doug Parker said the accidents had been reportedly been caused by icy road conditions during the mid-morning period.
"Drivers need to be aware of the icy conditions and drive accordingly," he said.
Transit New Zealand Otago Area Engineer John Jarvis said no road closures were expected and drivers should take care and monitor conditions.
