Christchurch police have named the motorist killed in a crash at Tai Tapu on Wednesday night.
Rodney Paul Browman, 58, of Ladbrooks, Canterbury died when the car he was driving collided with a 4WD vehicle on State Highway 75 near Tai Tapu at approximately 11.40pm.
The driver and passenger of the 4WD travelling in the opposite direction suffered minor to moderate injuries and were taken to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance, police said yesterday (Thurs.).
Police investigations into the crash are continuing.
