Polo to race rally
Volkswagen will enter the world rally championship with a Polo R-based car, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show with a 224kW/350Nm 1.6-litre motor.
Boxer for Subaru
Subaru says its BRZ will be the only mainstream front-engine rear-drive sports car to get a low-mounted boxer engine. The lightweight 2.0-litre unit was designed for the car and sits 120mm lower than in other Subarus.
Jimny upgraded
