The motorcyclist who lost both legs in a crash with a truck remains critically unwell in Auckland City Hospital.
"The man remains critical," a hospital spokesman said today.
The crash occurred around 4.30pm yesterday at the Royal Rd bridge over the North-western Motorway in Massey.
Police investigations into the crash were ongoing, a police spokeswoman said.
The truck driver had been discharged from Waitakere Hospital, a spokeswoman said.
