A motorcyclist who came off his bike on State Highway 53 in Bidwells Cutting Rd, South Wairarapa was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Central fire communications shift manager David Meikle said no-one else was involved.
Fire, ambulance and police attended the incident, which took place just after 1pm yesterday. No further information was available about the motorcyclist's injuries or condition.
