A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car in Mangatawhiri, south of Auckland, this afternoon.
The accident happened on Bell Road shortly after 2 pm.
An ambulance spokeswoman said the rider died at the scene.
There were no other injuries, she said.
Nine people have now died on New Zealand roads since January 1.
