A Wairarapa woman has been airlifted to hospital after losing control of her motorcycle and crashing into a barrier.
The crash happened just past the bridge over the Ruamahanga River on Kahutara Rd at about 3.30pm on Sunday.
Police said the woman was heading towards Lake Ferry when she hit a barrier at the end of the bridge.
The woman had a suspected broken leg and and was flown by rescue helicopter to Wairarapa Hospital in a stable condition.
