A motorcyclist who was involved in a serious crash at Bulls in the lower North Island has died.
The police said the motorcycle rider died today in Palmerston North Hospital, following the crash last night.
"The motorcyclist had failed to stop for police shortly before 7.30pm last night, however, police were no longer pursuing the motorcyclist when [the motorcycle] collided with another vehicle on Bridge St."
The police serious crash unit is investigating the collision and the Independent Police Conduct Authority has been advised.
