A motorcyclist involved in an inner-city crash in Auckland a week ago has died in hospital.
Alistair Stuart Humphries, 43, was critically injured when his motorcycle crashed into a car near the intersection of Fanshawe and Halsey Sts shortly before 6pm on February 3.
Mr Humphries, from suburban St Heliers, died in Auckland Hospital yesterday.
Police said Mr Humphries was overtaking while heading north in heavy traffic when he struck the car which turned into his path.
The car driver was uninjured.
Auckland's police serious crash unit says it wants to hear from witnesses.
