Motorcyclist critical after head-on crash

A motorcyclist was still in a critical condition in Middlemore Hospital today after his machine and a car collided head-on in south Auckland on Friday.

The man, in his 60s, was believed to have slowed to make a turn into Ostrich Farm Rd when he came over the brow of a hill and was in collision with the car.

A passenger in the car was slightly hurt.
