The Prime Minister's high speed trip last year between Waimate and Timaru is set to go back to court with one of the men convicted of dangerous driving appealing his conviction.
The civilian driver fined for dangerous driving has lodged the appeal.
Two police officers were also convicted over the Prime Minister's high speed trip between Waimate and Christchurch last year.
No date has yet been set for a hearing.
