Motocross rider's 30m fall

A motocross rider was in intensive care at Nelson Hospital last night after falling 30m down a bank in the Hira Forest.

The man in his 30s was flown to hospital by helicopter about 2pm yesterday.

Pilot Jarrod Colbourne said the man had slid off a dirt track in wet, greasy conditions.
