A post mortem examination was due to be held on the body of a motocross rider who died.
Barry Clifford Senn, 40, from Pukekohe, fell off his motorcycle during racing at Tuakau, south of Auckland, on Saturday as he leapt over a hill.
He is thought to have been hit by three following riders.
Mr Senn died in hospital yesterday.
