Helen Clark's Honda 50 motor scooter is a museum piece unlikely to come on the open market like the Vauxhall Cresta owned by her family.
Bidding for the Clark family's 1966 Vauxhall Cresta has reached $5550 in an online auction which closes on July 14.
The PM's scooter is at Motat.
Her father, George Clark, said that it was underhand of the seller to use the Vauxhall's ownership history to stir up interest in the auction.
