Police and the family of a missing Otago woman hold concerns for her welfare.
Bernadette Anne Flett, 59, left home yesterday about 1pm and nobody knows where she went, a statement from police says.
They are now appealing for sightings of her.
Ms Flett, who has shoulder-length brown hair, is about 159 centimetres tall and is of solid build, was possibly wearing a red jacket and tights.
She was believed to have been driving a white 2000 Honda accord station wagon, DNS27. It has a dent in the left front guard, a scrape on the driver's door and both corners of the rear bumper are damaged.
