Interest is bubbling over actor Temuera Morrison's $2.4 million Rotorua home after the Hollywood star put it up for sale.
The lakeside property, sporting a cabana, bar and swimming pool surrounded by tropical plants, has drawn keen interest from both locals and people from out of town, real estate agent Tim O'Sullivan says.
"I've had a lot of calls. We've had a few people view the property, and I'm positive," he said.
Because the original owner built the property with the intention to run it as a fishing lodge, the more than 8000sq m of land area offers the buyer the opportunity to "stamp their mark on it", Mr O'Sullivan said.
"There's still parts of the property that can be developed - somebody who wants to buy it could turn it into a lodge or bed and breakfast - there's huge potential with it."
