More training places

Twenty-eight tertiary education providers will receive funding next year through the $52.7 million Youth Guarantee policy, Tertiary Education Minister Anne Tolley has said.

The funding will create 2000 new places for 16- and 17-year-olds not engaged in school study.

Auckland will gain the most, with 810 places.
