More shoddy shackles found at substation

Two more faulty shackles have been replaced at the Otahuhu substation where a falling earth wire caused the June 12 power blackout, Parliament was told yesterday.

Under questioning, Energy Minister David Parker said he had "so far been advised of two additional D shackles that were in need of repair, or removal and replacement, at the Otahuhu site".
