More police have been snapped speeding for the first three months of this year than the same period in 2016.
Police figures published today detail 118 speeding tickets that were issued to cop cars from January to March this year.
That compares to 81 tickets upheld for the three months before that from October to December, and the 97 given out in the first three months of last year.
There were 270 upheld speeding tickets issued to police vehicles last year.
In total 216 speeding tickets were given to police vehicles from January to March this year, but 98 were waived.
