The Government is preparing to give more aid to flood-stricken Fiji, but it is likely to again go to relief agencies rather than the military Government.
Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully said New Zealand would probably "do more" than the $100,000 provided to the Red Cross.
Mr McCully said there had been no discussions with Fiji's leader, Commodore Frank Bainimarama.
