Wellington commuters have been warned to expect train delays for second day due to staff shortages.
A number of services in out of Wellington have either been cancelled or replaced by buses, a Tranz Metro spokeswoman said.
The disruptions were caused by staff illness and training commitments for a number of Tranz Metro's locomotive engineers, she said.
