KEY POINTS:
A 37-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman accused of the murder of teenager Michael Hutchings are expected to face further charges when they appear in court later today.
The pair, whose names are suppressed, made a brief appearance in Dunedin District Court this morning.
It is alleged the pair murdered the Kaitangata 18-year-old some time between January 7 and 12.
Mr Hutchings' body was found in the Clutha River, wrapped in bedding and weighted down with metal bars.
The court was told police were looking at charging the man and woman with another serious offence later today.
