Three more charges have been laid against a man who allegedly sparked a police manhunt in the central North Island last month.
Dolphy Kohu appeared briefly in the High Court at Whanganui this morning along with two alleged associates Hereina Paul and Carlos Bushel.
Reckless driving, failing to stop for police and unlawful possession of a pistol charges were added to the four Kohu was already facing, including the attempted murder of a police sergeant and knowingly using a firearm against police.
He also faces a charge of dishonestly taking a police car and another of dishonestly taking a Ford Telstar.
Justice Simon France deferred pleas for all defendants, including four others who didn't appear in person, and remanded them until November 17 for a case review.
