KEY POINTS:
Five more charges have been laid against a man charged with bolting from Christchurch Court House a fortnight ago.
They were laid today under a slightly different name which has been confirmed as one of the aliases used by the 35-year-old unemployed man.
He was known last week as Teaahu Reti, but appeared in court today under that name, and also as John Teahu Reti.
One new charge alleges that he attempted to obtain money by dishonestly using a gaming machine hand pay form.
The four other charges allege he stole laptop computers from Warehouse Stationery on June 8, twice on June 9, and again on June 10.
He previously faced charges of possession of an offensive weapon, a drug robbery of five people using a knife as a weapon, assaulting a man to avoid detection for disqualified driving, two burglaries, and disqualified driving.
After his apparent bolt from the court building, he was charged with escaping, and two charges of damaging toilets at a lawyers' office over the road where he locked himself in a cubicle. It is understood police used pepperspray to get him out.
He entered no pleas at his appearance before Christchurch District Court Judge John Bisphan today, and was further remanded in custody to July 11.
